About

Product manager and software engineer in Kathmandu, building process automation on the Microsoft platform. Former head of electronics and engineering lecturer.

I’m Marut Dhungana. I work on Norbrik’s Business Process Automate and Norbrik Connect platforms, turning approvals, onboarding, compliance and capital expenditure processes into software on Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Azure. For four years I was Norbrik’s product manager and technical consultant.

I started out designing databases and building web, desktop and GIS software as a solutions architect, and spent a decade alongside that teaching microprocessors, embedded systems, computer architecture and programming to engineering students across Kathmandu. For a while I also hosted “ElectroCom”, a weekly radio programme about technology and the digital divide.
